Overview
The Chinese Geoscience Union (CGU) is a societal organization of Earth sciences located in Taipei, Taiwan. Established in 1993, CGU is the publisher of Terrestrial, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Journal (TAO), which is Taiwan’s major international journal of Earth sciences. CGU strives to serve its members in providing a platform for fostering professional exchanges and cooperation domestically and internationally.

Terrestrial, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (TAO)
Terrestrial, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences has published its very first issue in 1990 and has become the official journal of the Chinese Geoscience Union since 1993. TAO is an SCI-accredited journal which publishes original articles, notes, correspondence, and reviews in Geophysics, Geology, Atmospheric Science, Space Science, Oceanic Science, and Hydrology.

Taiwan Geoscience Assembly (TGA)
Taiwan Geoscience Assembly is a triennial conference organized by several earth sciences related societies located in Taiwan. The primary aim of TGA is to provoke interdisciplinary discussion by gathering domestic and international experts and researchers from various disciplines of Earth sciences.

The upcoming TGA is scheduled to be held on June 07-10, 2022 at Taipei, Taiwan.

2022 Taiwan Geoscience Assembly (2022 TGA)
The Taiwan Geosciences Assembly (TGA) invites domestic and international experts and researchers from various disciplines of Earth sciences (including space science, atmospheric science, oceanography, geology, hydrology, geophysics, geography, and science education) to present and discuss their multi-disciplinary research results under the scope of “New Frontier for Our Beautiful Earth”. By this joint conference, we hope to explore the tasks of the resilience between human and natural environments, further provoking the public and governments to value the topics of land use and environmental changes in order to achieve the goal of sustainable development on the Earth.
