[H-TT19] Environmental Remote Sensing

Wed. May 25, 2022 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM 202 (International Conference Hall, Makuhari Messe)

convener:Naoko Saitoh(Center for Environmental Remote Sensing), convener:Hitoshi Irie(Center for Environmental Remote Sensing, Chiba University), Hiroto Shimazaki(National Institute of Technology, Kisarazu College), convener:Teppei Ishiuchi(Miyagi University), Chairperson:Hitoshi Irie(Center for Environmental Remote Sensing, Chiba University)

Measuring environmental changes at various spatio-temporal scales is a key to improve our understanding of our globe and the relationship between human activities and environmental problems on the earth. Remote sensing, which can observe the globe frequently and repeatedly, is a powerful tool to find environmental changes. This session discusses the applications of remote sensing to the detection and monitoring of environmental changes in time and space and aims to promote the knowledge-sharing for better management of the environmental problems and natural disasters in the world.
