[M-IS26] Gas hydrates in environmental-resource sciences

Thu. May 26, 2022 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM 203 (International Conference Hall, Makuhari Messe)

convener:Hitoshi Tomaru(Department of Earth Sciences, Chiba University), convener:Akihiro Hachikubo(Kitami Institute of Technology), Shusaku Goto(Institute for Geo-Resources and Environment National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology), Chairperson:Shusaku Goto(Institute for Geo-Resources and Environment National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology), Akihiro Hachikubo(Kitami Institute of Technology)

An increasing number of researches focusing on natural gas hydrates have recently been conducted from the environmental, material, and resource scientific viewpoints. This session aims to share and discuss the latest research results associated with natural/experimental gas hydrates to understand and examine the nature and potential of gas hydrates in the past-present-future of the Earth and the development/application for our life. Because researches on gas hydrates are interdisciplinary, broad topics from field works and experimental studies, modeling, etc., will be presented in this session.

3:30 PM - 3:45 PM
