Japanese geoparks records the formation process of the Japanese archipelago, and we can know the geological features of the Japanese archipelago and interaction between the earth, nature and culture through Japanese geoparks. In this session, invited speakers provide presentations about formation process of Japanese archipelago and relationship between geology, nature and people's lives for their understanding.
