The earth and planetary sciences deal with many issues that are very close to our daily lives. Such researchers in this area are active in many parts of Japan. In this session, we introduce such researchers and people involved in this field and their activities, how they landed their current position. Many people may not know how to become a scientist. Either many of students may wonder how they apply their learned in university and their skills to society? We will have presentations on what they have learned and how they can use the skills they have acquired during their studies at universities and graduate schools in society.
Junior and senior high school students who want to go into the field of earth and planetary sciences are welcome to participate in this session and ask questions. We also welcome submissions from people who develop human resources and expand their colleagues.
