convener:Takaaki Yokoyama(School of Science, Kyoto University), convener:Shinsuke Imada(Department of Earth and Planetary Science, Graduate School of Science, University of Tokyo), Shin Toriumi(Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), convener:Alphonse Sterling(NASA/MSFC), Chairperson:Shinsuke Imada(Department of Earth and Planetary Science, Graduate School of Science, University of Tokyo)
This session is for discussions on recent progress in solar and heliospheric physics, and related fields (including plasma physics and planetary physics). We will discuss what observational and theoretical studies achieved in the recent years and what should be addressed next in the coming mid-2020s. We welcome contributions not only by solar researchers but also those from related fields on observations, theories, numerical works, and experiments.
