[AOS13-05] Morphology and ecology of bioaerosol in stratosphere

*Kenji Miki1,2, Osamu Sahara3 (1.Keio University, 2.Tokyo Institute of Technology Earth-Life Science Institute, 3.Tokushima University)

Keywords:stratosphere, morphology, bioaerosol

Although the biosignature traces of the microorganims have been found in the stratosphere since 1930s, it is still unknown how these microorganism can be transported up to the stratospheric level. Some previous research suggested that the photophoretic force can produce the dominant driving force in the stratosphere. In this research, from the view point of the relationship between the balance of the driving forces (e.g. the gravity, the photophoretic force) works on the bioaerosol particle in the stratosphere and the morphology of bioaerosol particles, we will discuss the possible bioaerosol ecology spreading in the stratosphere.
