[E-11-20] Minerals relaying the Water Baton to the Earth's Deep Interior
Although most of our planet is covered by oceans, there may actually be large amounts of water in the Earth's deep interior. How is water transported to the Earth's depths and beyond? We will discuss hydrous minerals and the fate of water transported by these minerals to the deep Earth revealed by first-principles computer simulations.
