Keywords:VR, 3D printer, Metaverse, junior high-school studen, School education, Head mount display
In recent years, with the development of science and technology, VR goggles and 3D printers have become available at low prices.
In School education using 3D printers, there are practices such as Noriko Kawashima et al. (2019) and Mizuho Taguchi et al. (2020).
On the other hand, about the educational practice using VR goggles, Lasse Jensen et al(2018) and others pointed out that a learning effect was expected in the observation, but there was not the practice example by the school education in Japan.
In this study, 257 second-year junior high school students observed the landform printed out using a 3D printer and experience VR space, as pre-learning before the excursion.
In this presentation, we report on the usefulness of pre-learning for excursion.
