Mt. Kurikoma Area Geopark Promotion Committee is planning a long trail that utilizes resources in the area. We tentatively call it the Mt.Kurikoma area Geo-Trail. This concept was proposed at the conference and started in 2021.
We want to provide an opportunity to change our values by walking the trails. It is also our aim to foster within the region how to conserve and properly use resources in the area through the process of building trails.
We plan to make the long trail a medium that encourages visitors to conserve and sustainably use resources. In this announcement, we will introduce the outline of the Mt.Kurikoma area Geo-Trail concept and the efforts so far.
