Keywords:Groundwater flow simulation, Particle tracking analysis, Radioactive cesium

A study on the groundwater flow analysis and particle tracking analysis in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture, have been conducted based on the published information. As a result of the study, the particles started from the Abukuma Mountains have discharged into the pond existing in the modeled area. If some of the radioactive cesium moves with a colloidal without being adsorbed by rocks, it is expected that it will discharge into the reservoir. Therefore, monitoring of the concentration of the radio-cesium in the groundwater and measurement of air dose rate should be indispensable.
