[MGI30-06] Open team science as a mindset for open interdisciplinary collaboration
キーワード:学際性、超学際性、ひらいた研究のマインドセット、倫理的衡平
In recent years, increasing attention has been paid to the mindset of research experts and collaborators that accept the culture and thoughts of open science, but theoretical consideration remains to be explored. For instance, mistrust for data sharing and secondary use may disturb open data actions. To this end, this paper proposes the Open Team Science Method to develop issue-driven multi-actor research in an open environment. Case studies, including the community-based participatory action research to address environmental fluctuation in Lake Biwa, reveal the importance of careful considerations of (1) enabling ethical equity of participants, (2) keeping transparency of research process, (3) facilitating dialogue to build trust, and (4) transcending issues to share goals that actors with different thoughts and mindsets can tackle together. The promotion of the Open Team Science Method will contribute to developing an open mindset for collaborative research.
