[O08-P04] Development of simple measurement methods for volcanic gases at Sakurajima,Ibusuki and Kirishima volcanoes.

For volcano disaster prevention, It is important to observe volcanic gases as well as geophysical observations of volcanoes. Therefore, we used a simple volcanic gas measurement method using commercially available gas sensors and temperature loggers, and a chemical analysis method of volcanic gases using alkaline filter paper, which is widely used in air pollution analysis. We started measurements at Sakurajima, Kirishima, and Ibusuki volcanoes to demonstrate the method and to accumulate data during calm periods. Based on the obtained data, we evaluated the method and discussed its validity by comparing the data with the data of volcanoes, eruption histories, and gas concentration ratios.
