Miyagi Prefecture was severely damaged by a huge earthquake in 2011. Since then, it has been hit by a big shake. In order to see this damage and think about how the frameworks of houses and buildings suppress damage, we produced four types of brace model, and conducted a control experiment on how much the shaking is suppressed by braces.

(1)Brace structure
We assembled multiple types of braces with wooden sticks on the conventional seismic motion
generator and soil ground, and investigated how the width of vibration of the super ball differs.
The brace was compared in four typs:"None", "N-shaped","Torii-shaped", and "X-shaped".
We paid attention to what percentage of each of these skeletons can suppress the original ground
motion without brace. The N-shaped tremor was suppressed to 20.8 % and the torii type was suppressed to 25.0 % compared to no brace. The most suppressed vibration was the X-shape, and
the vibration was suppressed up to 42.0 %.

(2)About the ground
It is the ground that is transmitted the earthquake motion. In addition to the above diagonal,
a comparison was made between hard ground and soft ground. The hardness was adjusted by
making a difference in the refrigeration time of gelatin, which was likened to the ground. On the
contrary, on soft ground, the balance of the diagonal itself is easily lost due to vibration, and it was
damaged by direct vibration.
