We are currently working to clarify the distribution of Microplastics(MP) in river sediments, which is one of the environmental problems. If we can determine the amount of MP in river sediments, we will be able to understand the flow of MP in the aquatic environment. In this study, we developed a method to measure MP and measured the amount of MP from sand samples collected from the Nagara River, and at the same time, conducted particle size analysis.
