[PEM12-P16] Recent activities and future plans of MAGDAS project under new organization

International Center for Space Weather Science and Education (ICSWSE), Kyushu University will be reorganized and renamed to International research center for Space and Planetary Environmental Science(I-SPES) in April 2022. We will also continue our research for conducting research and education in solar terrestrial physics under I-SPES. For the above purpose, we are operating world-wide magnetometer array named as MAGDAS/CPMN (MAGnetic Data Acquisition System/Circum-pan Pacific Magnetometer Network) (Principal Investigator: Prof. A. Yoshikawa). It consists of over seventy fluxgate magnetometers, one induction magnetometer, and four FM-CW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radars. One of our recent research topics is Equatorial Electrojet (EEJ). To accelerate the understanding of EEJ structure, we have built dense magnetometer arrays across the magnetic equator at Peru and Malaysia. In 2022, we plan to construct new dense magnetometer array in Sri Lanka in collaborate with local organizations. Data along the magnetic equator including these arrays are used for calculating EE-index (Uozumi et al, 2008; Fujimoto et al., 2016). In addition, we are developing the multi-band ionospheric scintillation detector based on GNSS receiver and Software Defined Radio. These instruments make us to help better understanding the detailed physics around the magnetic equator. It is very important to open our observational information and data including old project to the public. To this end, we provide a variety of information including metadata and data via our website and services of corporative project, IUGONET (Inter-university Upper Atmosphere Observation NETwork), SuperMAG, and so on. These activities of ours helps any researchers to accelerate their research.
