[PPS03-P06] はやぶさ2中間赤外カメラの較正・可視化ツールHEATの安定化と機能拡張
キーワード:ソフトウエア、はやぶさ2、Hera
HEAT has been developed for thermal cameras on Hayabusa2 and Hera spacecrafts. Thermal Infrared Imager (TIR) is onboard instrument of Hayabusa2 provided by JAXA. Thermal Infrared Imager(TIRI) is that of Hera provided by European Space Agency (ESA). TIRI is the successor of TIR. Both thermal cameras observe infrared radiation from the surface of the asteroids. These main functions are to know the nature of the asteroid based on thermo-physical properties.
We have developed an analysis supporting tool called HEAT, which is an abbreviation of Hayabusa2/Hera Exploration Assistant for TIR/TIRI (HEAT). The software has four functions; Database for ground tests, Calibration of flight data based on the ground tests, Conversion from raw data to temperature one, and Visualization data for verifying the calibration and conversion. This HEAT has been refactored then will be released as open source software for assuring traceability in data processing.
We have 2 additional items to HEAT in Suko+(2019); introductions of dynamic parallel-processing and switching data-processing flow with header information.
The parallel processing has been implemented with OpenMP in Konno+(2022).
The switching data-processing flow has been implemented to handle several levels of data. Data products of thermal cameras are categorized into Level-1 to Level-4 for each data type. Hard-coding of HEAT specialized to certain types of the data prevents from extending functions, so information peculiar to each level is extracted from the header. We implemented a function of loading header information.
This research has stabilized and extended HEAT functionally for the Hera science team. HEAT is scheduled to be released as open source software in March 2022.
This development of HEAT has been supported as a joint research project of ARC-Space in AY2021 (Leader : Prof.Arai) by MEXT Promotion of Distinctive Joint Research Center Program Grant Number JPMXP0619217839.
