*Takeshi Enomoto1 (1.Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University)

Keywords:meteorological data, interdiciplinary research, Elementary education

The Meteorological Research Consortium (MRC) is a framework for research cooperation between the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) and the Meteorological Society of Japan (MSJ). A server installed at the Meteorological Research Institute, JMA provides JMA data, which have been used in numerous studies.

Atmospheric and Hydrospheric Science Archive Platform (AHSAP) is a project to reach potential users outside MSJ, such as those in adjacent research fields or in elementary education. In addition to archive the JMA data, otherwise rotated in the MRC server, tools for data analysis, data assimilation, machine learning and visualization are developed and provided. AHSAP aims to cultivate the literacy for disaster reduction of the general public and to contribute to education of Earth and Planetary sciences.
