On-site poster schedule(2023/5/21 17:15-18:45)

Astrobiology is an interdisciplinary scientific field that studies the origin, evolution, distribution, and habitability of life in the universe. Scientists have long questioned where and how key elements and materials originated and transferred, eventually developing into a biological system on Earth and elsewhere. We still face challenges in providing an in-depth scenario to answer the above question. Thus, connecting the dots between astronomy, Earth and planetary science, chemistry, and biology is essential. JpGU astrobiology session will therefore stand as a cross-section for all the potential astrobiologists interested in the following research themes: 1) the formation and evolution of the planetary systems, 2) chemical evolution and geochemistry within our solar system, 3) understanding the origins and evolution of biomolecules and energy flow for life, and 4) development of life detection strategies for future exploration for life in the universe. We are willing to facilitate exciting discussions connecting the above themes to further envision the future direction of astrobiology
