[AAS02-05] Actuator Location Optimization for Large Degree-of-Freedom Fields
Keywords:Climate Control, Optimization of Actuator Location
To perform climate control, it is considered necessary to put in very large control inputs. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly pursue more efficient control. As an element research project of Moonshot Goal 8 Climate Control, we are working on optimizing the location of inputs - that is, the position of actuators in control engineering - for large-scale degree-of-freedom fields such as meteorology problems for more improvement in control efficiency. In weather control, heat and water vapor are considered as inputs, and we would like to contribute to improving the efficiency of weather control by optimizing the location of these inputs.
In general, the actuator position optimization problem is a dual problem of the sensor optimization problem for linear dynamical problems. Considering this structure, we will briefly explain what can be achieved in previous research on sensor optimization. After that, I will close the presentation by explaining the challenges for actuator position optimization.
