[ACG42-P06] Validation of terrestrial processes in a layered model, which integrates seawater-land-water process for the Shirakawa River watershed
Keywords:Hydrological Model, Ocean Model
Coastal and brackish water ecosystems decline due to climate change and human development. Kida and Yamashiki (2014) attempted to extend the Isopycnal Layered model, an ocean model, to the land area. However, the model is still developing and needs further validation. In this study, the model is applied to the Shirakawa River basin and compared with observed flow rates and existing hydrological models to identify appropriate computational conditions and examine land use parameters' influence.
