Low-level turbulence around airport has been known to cause a serious problem to aircraft operations during when its take-off and landing. In order to consider the safe airport operations, we conducted a numerical investigation of low-level turbulence and estimation of a landing aircraft safety at Tokyo/Haneda airport in Japan. Hangar wake is found to become severe when wind directions are N to ENE. An aircraft approaching to runway 34L encounters maximum 0.13g normal load of hangar wake at 80 m to 120 m in altitude.
