[G02-P01] Holding of National Volcano Experiment Research Exchange Meeting in Japan

In Japan which is a mobile belt, it is important that we educate and spread the knowledge of the volcano from the viewpoint of mitigation desaster. In some volcanic areas and Geoparks having an active volcano, the education spread activity that already utilized "a volcano experiment" is carried out. On the other hand, the practice method of "the volcano experiment" conducted in each place is not shared widely, and there is the experiment did like craftsmanship at each place.
Therefore we planned " National Volcano Experiment Research Exchange Meeting in Japan". A researcher engaged in a volcano experiment announces "the volcano experiment" publicly, and I show positioning in the volcano education, and the purpose considers and shares "a volcano experiment" performed in each place widely and is to spread in the whole Japan.

Contents:
(1) Volcano experiment teaching materials exchange meeting
Some researchers and a practitioners working on a volcano experiment carry out their experiments, and a general participant experiences those.
(2) Volcano experiment classroom for Kids
Under the theme of "a secret of pumice and the eruption," an eruption experiment and a picture book about the eruption of Fukutoku-Okanoba carry out story-telling of "the great adventure of pumice" and observation of the pumice for primary schoolchildren.
(3) Geogashi kitchen classroom
A geogashi making classroom by Suzuki which is one of the publishers. She teach about the volcanic product which we can observe in the Kanto district and geogashi making.

It recruited publicity work and administration volunteers using SNS in addition to Volcanological Society of Japan, Japan Society of Earth Science Education, the email news of the Japanese Geopark network from February 8, 2023. As a result, 15 volcano experiments were decided as of February 14. And there are many proposal of the cooperation for volunteer from citizens, so high interest in this event can call among them.
In this presentation, we will report the reaction from a state and a participant of the day, the contents of the volcano experiment on March 5.
