The Shinjuku City Board of Education asked me to give a lecture on "Earth Science Education Using ICT" for junior high school science teachers. I gave a lecture on "Proposals for Geology Classes Using Free Software Available on the Internet.
The lecture will discuss the current status of geoscience education and the expected uses of software, online applications, and free materials, while incorporating the results of a questionnaire survey of the lecturers.
