[HCG24-P04] Topic of the useful gene functions in closed ecosystems

Recently, genomic information has been rapidly accumulated, but gene function has not been elucidated enough to decipher from this information. The function of a gene is clarified primarily by mutants. Prediction of gene function is advancing, but the prediction of function is limited in cases of similarity and characterization. Therefore, it is essential to accumulate new information on gene function. In previous JpGU session, I have introduced on useful genes in closed ecosystems based on the analysis of gene functions from various organisms. In this presentation, I will introduce new useful gene functions topically.
