*Norio Shigematsu1, Takashi Azuma2, Ken-ichi Yasue3, Ryo Tateishi3, Daisuke Hirouchi4, Rei Nakashima2 (1.Research Institute of Earthquake and Volcano Geology, Geological Survey of Japan, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, 2.Paleoseismological trenching surveys on the Enasan fault and the Sanageyamakita fault, Central Japan, 3.Toyama University, 4.Shinshu University)

Keywords:direction of fault movement, active fault, Central Japan

The Enasan-Sanageyamakita fault zone is one of the segments of the Byobuyama-Enasan and Sanageyama fault zone although the Enasan fault and the Sanageyamakita fault have different type of fault movement. We conducted surveys on the Enasan fault in 2021FY and on the Sanageyamakita fault in 2022FY, respectively. We will discuss the direction of fault movement on those faults in this presentation. This survey was a part of the Comprehensive Research Project for the Enasan-Sanageyamakita Fault Zone by MEXT.
