[HGG01-P06] Succession of Agricultural Resources and Generation Transition of Agricultural Population: A Case Study of Yuzawa city, Akita Prefecture

The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between the succession of agricultural resources and generation transition of agricultural population, based on changes in the employment structure of agricultural population between 1990 and 2020 in Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture.
Comparing the family composition of farm households in 1990 and 2020, households with a declining agricultural population did not inherit agricultural resources within the household and changed to non-farm households.
The Agricultural resources tend to be inherited within the household in households where the generation transition of agricultural population has progressed smoothly.
