[MGI27-P02] Domestic and international situations regarding open data in the field of geodesy
キーワード:GGOS、測地学
In the field of geodesy, discussions on long-term data utilization, storage, management and sharing as a social infrastructure, modeling research using long-term data, and development of data repositories are actively conducted. Within the Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS) established under the International Association of Geodesy (IAG), discussions are progressing at working group on DOIs, and advices were given to international products. In addition, several reports have been made, and international geodetic observation organizations are proceeding with studies on data storage methods and DOI assignment mechanisms.
Through the GGOS Japan data working group, a regional organization in Japan, the importance of managing, storing, and utilizing geodetic data was proposed. In response to this, the Geodetic Society Journal Editorial Committee and data working group have prepared a system to accept data papers in the Geodetic Society Journal in 2022. In addition, construction of the geodetic data system in Japan was started.
In the working group of the Inter-Commission Committee on Marine Geodesy (ICCM) in IAG, the method of organizing data in the field of seafloor geodesy is also being studied. In this presentation, in addition to the international and domestic situations regarding the handling of data related to global geodesy and satellite geodesy, we will also report on the status of studies in the field of seafloor geodesy.
