[MIS01-P11] Protective properties of organic humic acids in relation to various toxicants (bottom sediments of Arctic lake): experimental research

*Marina I Dinu1 (1.Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry Russia)

Keywords:bottom sediments , Arctic lake, organic matter

The Arctic region is given increased attention, given its role in maintaining the ecological balance on the planet. Increased multifactorial pollution is of concern due to the high concentration of industrial and technical sources on the Kola Peninsula. One of the main sources of negative impact on the waters of the Kola Peninsula is the Monchegorsk site JSC "Kolskaya" is one of the largest enterprises for the processing of copper-nickel ores. Oz. Nyudyavr is an anthropogenically transformed reservoir, which is subjected to long-term intensive impact from the plant. The qualitative and quantitative composition of salt wastewater does not meet the environmental requirements for discharges into fishery water bodies (100 and 1000 times higher than the MPC for a number of elements). We have studied the protective properties of fulvic acids (water-soluble part of humic substances) isolated from the soils of the Kola Peninsula, introduced into the bottom sediments of a heavily polluted real water body (Nyuduay, Ndyavr tributary), in relation to ions of heavy metals and toxic organics (benzApyrene). Forms of finding metals, inoculation of toxic organic substances were studied in relation to existing MPC standards. Methods for reducing the anthropogenic load of various levels have been proposed.
