[MIS11-P09] Regarding future conference management as inferred from survey results of the Japanese Geoparks Conference, Hakusan Tedorigawa Conference.
Keywords:Hakusan Tedorigawa, Geopark, National Conference, Survey
From the results of the survey, it was found that a higher number of guide-related persons responded that their purpose for attending was wanting “to meet other geopark members”, or they “are interested in the Hakusan Tedorigawa Geopark”. Furthermore, the response of “because it is my job” was the lowest among a wide array of participants. From this it can be thought that people attending for achieving personal goals, or for fulfilling interests, are more than those attending for any other reason. In the post survey, it was found that people’s reasons for being unable to attend the post-conference tours were mostly due to schedule clashes, however there was a large difference seen in the proportion of this response based on their respective position. Specifically, it was found that among guide-related persons, the balance of price to tour-content was important.
