[MZZ40-P04] Change of Surface Solar Radiation and its factors with 4K Warming in Japan Winter Season
Keywords:Surface solar radiation, Climate change, D4PDF
This study focused on February, as these months statistically vary significantly. In February, SR was decreased on the most of regions in Japan. Especially the SR change ratio was greatly decrease in northern and eastern Japan. However, total cloud amount(CLA) was only increased on land in northern Japan. Some regions were inconsistent in their changes in SR and CLA. In future climate, several studies suggested the winter monsoon will weaken and change wind direction (westward). The SR change ratio was large in northern Japan, the main factors in the future changes related to the winter monsoon changes. The cloud amount over the Sea of Japan side may be related to the changes in convective activity, which affects by the weakening of the winter monsoon. However, the relation was different for sea and land regions. The difference in the SR changes was indicated the future changes in each level of cloud amount. Specifically, the SR changes in the land regions were consistent with the changes in the mid-level and low-level cloud amounts. Changes in sea regions were consistent with changes in the high-level cloud amount.
