[MZZ43-P11] Preservation of natural environment and historical remains around the promenade along the Chikuma(Shinano)river.

*Nakano Kouhei

Keywords:2019 Typhoon, Appearance of outcrops and remains

We had already discovered the something new remains along the Chikuma river during the rafting in 2018.There were a lot of boulders with wedge holes. The 2019 typhoon caused disastrous water flood in this area and it washed away the grass and trees along the river bank. Due to the flood, the other outcrops have emerged.
In 2019, we discovered new remains which seems to be newer than Kotaki Yotsumawari-canals.
In this section, we will mainly introduce “Topography and Geological environment”, “historical remains” and Plants and Animals etc.
We suggest that how we enlighten the local residents and how we conserve these historical remains.
