We introduce the NEO observation activities mainly at JAXA Bisei Spaceguard Center. Bisei Spaceguard Center was constructed in 1999 in Bisei town, Okayama Prefecture, for the observations of asteroids and space debris, and the observations and research work there are carried out by the Japan Spaceguard Association. The observations started from the beginning of 2000, and we discovered one new comet C/2001 W2, two near-Earth asteroids, and more than 1100 main belt asteroids. Around 2010, our main observational focus shifted to follow-up, then we have carried out follow-up observations of more than 1,500 NEO candidates while proceeding with several research observations such as light-curve observations. New plans are also in progress to detect faster and fainter NEOs by applying the ‘stacking method’ to the observation data at Kiso Observatory and also Bisei Spaceguard Center.
