Miho Sasaoka, who sailed on the voyage to research the Antarctic ocean (KH-19-6 Leg4) of the 2019 Hakuho Maru round-the-world voyage, drew a 10-meter picture scroll of research and life on board the ship during the approximately 30 days own experienced.The real interest of scientific research lies in the process of research, but in reality, the process of research is rarely available to the general public as scientific information.As an attempt to represent the process of scientific research, this picture scroll is a work that allows the public at large to experience with their entire bodies a variety of fascinating aspects of the unknown world of research (the ecology of scientists).It is a work of art that serves as a gateway to the world of the unknown and to places we have never been.
