For volcano disaster prevention, it is important to observe volcanic gases as well as geophysical observations of volcanoes. Therefore, we aimed to establish a collection and analysis method to easily measure volcanic gases from Sakurajima, and conducted demonstrations at 15 locations in the prefecture to evaluate the collection and quantification methods, and confirmed their effectiveness.
