[O06-P40] Research on microplastics found in a reservoir in the mountains

*Furuyama Sousuke1, *Satou Yuuto1, *Andou Hinata1, *Kagiya Ayaha1 (1. Gifu Prefectural Yaotsu High School)

Keywords:Microplastics, Crayfish, Hyperspectral imaging and FT-IR

we do not think of microplastics as an environmental problem in the sea, but as a problem for all the plastic products that enrich our lives. plastics are difficult to decompose in the natural world, and are floating in the atmosphere as microplastics due to ultraviolet rays and wear. plastics are diversifying according to their uses, making recycling difficult, but the recycling rate can be increased by sorting them like pet bottles. therefore, it is important to clarify the material of the microplastics found in the ponds in the mountains. therefore, we conducted hyperspectral imaging and ft-ir analysis, and as a result, polystyrene used for food trays from the water of the reservoir, and polyethylene terephthalate which is used for clothing such as fleece from the body of crayfish living there could be detected.
