Keywords:ionosphere, total electron content, SSW

We have installed a network of around 60 GNSS receivers with the ability of receving both the Beidou/Compass system and other GNSS systems to monitor the response of the regional ionosphere in Asia to the drivers of space weather and from the lower atmosphere. The data lasts for several years now. The GNSS network data have been used to study the ionospheric irregularities, ionospheric storms, regional structure of the ionosphere, etc.
In this report we will first show the fine structure of the ionosphere revealed by the GNSS network. Then, we present the variation of the ionosphere to the 2018 sudden stratospheric warming (SSW) event. The variations of diurnal and higher harmonic components of the total electron content (TEC) at selected stations during and after the SSW. Further, the detailed components of the tidal-like components derived from global observations will also be briefly discussed.
