When granular particles of halite are sheared, transient frictional response and shear localization behavior are observed. In this study, we developped a simple theoretical model that describes such dynamical behavior. By considering the generation, accumulation, and overflow of wear particles, we succeded in reproducing the constant friction and subsequent slip weakening. We also succeeded in modeling of the normal stress dependence on the characteristic lengths for the two respective regimes. In our presentation, we will explain the outline and validity of our model.
