[SSS09-P06] Development of a Prototype Earthquake Disaster Prevention Infrastructure Simulator for the Great Earthquakes along the Nankai Trough
Keywords:Nankai Trough, hazard, risk
In this study, we describe the development of a prototype earthquake disaster prevention simulator that can provide information on earthquake and tsunami hazards and the risks for the great earthquakes along the Nankai Trough. The earthquake disaster prevention infrastructure simulator under development consists of a fault, subsurface structure, and topography model bank, an earthquake image and scenario bank, and a search function. In the fault, subsurface structure, and topography model bank, fault models and subsurface structure models used in strong-motion simulations are accumulated, and fault models and topography elevation models used in tsunami simulations are accumulated. In the earthquake image and scenario bank, results of strong-motion simulations and tsunami simulations using the data in the fault, subsurface structure, and topography model bank are accumulated, as well as risk assessment results based on these results, earthquake image of the Nankai Trough earthquake based on the risk information, and disaster scenarios in a wide area. Because of the wide range of information accumulated in this way, the earthquake image and scenario search function will enable users to appropriately search for and utilize simulation results and disaster scenarios according to their own purposes.
