[SVC32-P04] Experimental Study of Impact Absorption Effect of Overlying Artificial Pumice Layer
for RC Structure with varying thickness

After an amendment of the Act on Special Measures for Active Volcanoes in 2015, the evacuation shelter owners are considering of the reinforcement against about ballistic ejecta. However, it is less of the information of the reinforced method. Therefore, we conduct the experiment of the impact absorption effect of overlying artificial pumice layer for the wooden cabin and RC structure.
In addition to Kubo et al.,(2022), we conducted an experiment with test pieces that are thickness of 220mm and has/not the reinforcing steel bar. As a result, we found the effective of thickness. On the other hand, we found that the test pieces without reinforcing steel bar showed no effect of overlying artificial pumice layer.
