[U06-P06] A research on effects of audio-visual interactions in landscape perception of urban park

The impact of visual and soundscape on the overall landscape experience, and the interaction between them, can be used as a tool to indirectly improve the audio- visual perception of a park when visual or soundscape is limited.
Because the primary soundscape concept relates to landscape and 80% of human sensory experiences depend on visual stimuli , the correlations between landscape and soundscape have been investigated extensively.
This research aims to clarify the relationship between overall satisfaction with the urban environment and its soundscape and landscape based on a subjective evaluation of the audio-visual interaction effects within various urban park spaces with different environmental conditions.
