Earth environment and creatures on our planet had formed and evolved for hundreds of billions of years naturally by its own before the servere disturbance of humanity activities. Since the beginning of industrial revolution, the development of global environment is subject to human beings' modernization. As an English-Chinese interpreter and translator, the author often engages in the meetings and conferences convened under the theme of climate change, carbon neutrality, renewable energy or disaster relief. And this career is often exposed to the governments, international organizations, enterprises, institutions, banking system, researchers, experts or environmentalists as the communicative bridge to promote a successful completion of crucial environmental agenda. From the perspective of a translator, the construction of positive global environment needs various efforts: Firstly, the United Nations and other relative international organizations should shoulder better accountability to coordinate the macro environmental work. Secondly, governments in major countries are the most needed to formulate environment-friendly policies to develop their economies. Thirdly, research institutions no matter affiliated to universities or corporations should conduct their researches based on the environmental and social realities, taking the social benefits as their main objectives. Fourthly, enterprises should embrace new research outcomes and technologies to upgrade their processing techniques so as to reduce the harm to environment. Fifthly, financial support is another crucial factor for both institutes and firms to relief difficulties and adopt new research outputs. Last but no least, individuals in the whole community are the main force to uphold ecological concepts and advance research findings transfer into beneficial activities. Only a sound ecosystem that participated by holistic shareholders is established, can we enjoy a fabulous global environment.
