Data-driven estimation of terrestrial carbon cycle is essential approach in the era of earth observation big data. However, there are many uncertainties exist across different approaches. In this study, we used two different approaches of data-driven and remote sensing based estimation of terrestrial carbon cycle, support vector regression and BESS diagnostic models for 2000 to 2020 period. We will discuss how much these two approaches including other available datasets and summarize future challenges of the estimation.
