[ACG43-05] Monitoring of sediment transport processes from River Tenryu to Enshu Coasts

*Satoshi Takewaka1, Takumi Okabe2 (1.University of Tsukuba, 2.Mie University)

Keywords:sedimentary processes from the river to the coast, monitoring, X-band radar, XBeach

Sediment transport by the floods from the river to the coastal zone at the Tenryu River is analyzed using X-band radar observations and numerical simulations with XBeach. Further, we are also conducting observations to capture the transport of sediments deposited in the estuary area by the floods to the coastal areas by the action of waves. In this presentation, we will introduce the results of our research and the discussion on the advancement of monitoring system.
