Keywords:global warming, high water temperature, ninety percentile

It is very important to clarify the temperature changes in the ocean's interior in the context of global warming.
In this study using MGDSST data (1982-2020, daily, 0.25° × 0.25°) for Japan Meteorological Agency calculate ninety percentile value in each grid, ever year over ninety percentile value the number of days count. Moreover, over ninety percentile sea area strength categorize (the difference between ninety percentile value and mean value more than twice Category 2, more than three times, Category 3, more than four times Category 4).
The result, over ninety percentile sea area increased since 2010, from the North Pacific Ocean to the Bering Sea via the coast of North America, there was a tendency to move. In the ten years since 2010, in particular the northern hemisphere many confirmed over 300 day or more sea area, that sea area is frequenting strong strength sea area.
During the lecture, using ARMOR3D (1993-2020, weekly, 0.25° × 0.25°, reference 50 layers 0-5500m) data for CMEMS (Copernicus Marine and Environment Monitoring Service) to calculate over ninety percentile value, count it by week and month, categorize the strength of the sea area, and have a discussion.
