As part of ongoing efforts to improve disaster risk assessment and management, this study aims to validate a deterministic seismic risk model using historical data from the Cianjur earthquake 2022. To determine the effectiveness of the deterministic seismic risk model, we will collect data on the number of households impacted by the Cianjur earthquake in 2022. This information will be crucial in understanding the scale of the disaster and the recovery needs of the affected population. By analyzing the number of households affected, we can better assess the post-disaster recovery needs and develop targeted strategies for mitigating the impact of future seismic events. We will also compare the predicted damage and casualties from the deterministic seismic risk model with the actual data from the Cianjur earthquake to evaluate its accuracy. This validation process will provide valuable insights into the reliability and effectiveness of the deterministic seismic risk model, ultimately contributing to improved disaster preparedness and response efforts.
