Due to the frequent occurrence of natural disasters in recent years, stone monuments related to past disasters are drawing attention. "Natural Disaster Heritage Monument" by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan Disaster monuments that convey records of
disasters that occurred in the past to future generations are scattered throughout Japan. Still, their functional aspects are declining or lost for various reasons. Therefore, efforts to collect records of disaster monuments and create a database have begun in various places, but they are still incomplete. Therefore, we created a 3D model of the disaster memorial using two surveying techniques, SfM (Structure from Motion) photogrammetry using a single-lens reflex camera and LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) surveying using iPad Pro, and verified the difference in accuracy between them.
