[O08-P102] Measurement of Radioactive Substances in Radon Hot Spring Water
Keywords:radioactive decay, groundwater, geology
In this study, we followed the experimental method of previous research and adsorbed Rn-222 contained in purchased radon hot spring water with activated carbon. After that, we conducted an experiment to measure the radioactive material content in groundwater. The experiment was conducted using two variables. One is the temperature at the time of the experiment, and the other is the temperature of the hot spring water. We considered how these two factors affect the results. By applying this research, it is thought that geological surveys using radioactive materials as markers will become possible without boring surveys.
