[U05-03] Underground Built Heritage (UBH): New perceptions of human activity in Anthropocene
★Invited Papers
Keywords:UBH
Underground Built Heritage (UBH) is also the identity of local communities with historical and cultural features, such as caves and tunnel sites, i.e. wartime air-raid shelters, underground munitions factory sites, mining sites, or cave dwellings, which are common overseas. In areas with UBHs, there are many examples of how the utilization of these can lead to the revitalization of the community, and they are also sometimes used as places for primary and secondary education. This study presents the relationship between such human activities, the environment, and activities.
