[B-CG07] Frontier in Biology and Paleobiology of Fossilized Micro-organisms

Tue. May 27, 2025 5:15 PM - 7:15 PM Poster Hall (Exhibition Hall 7&8, Makuhari Messe)

convener:Rie Hori, S.(Department of Earth Science, Faculty of Science, Ehime University), Yurika Ujiie(Kochi University), Hidetaka Nomaki(JAMSTEC)

The aim of this session opens new window in interdisciplinary research for Earth science and Biology based on microfossils and fossilized micro-organisms. Microfossils, mostly unicellular eukaryotes, play key roles in multiple fields of Earth science. We welcome your presentation on evolution, ecology, biochemistry, biomonitoring, and general biological subjects of microfossils and organisms.
